AXPO breaks the plant material down through fermentation into energy, biogas and fertiliser. The biogas goes on to fuel vehicles and heat homes, while the fertiliser helps grow the next generation of plants, which eventually make their way into new office concepts, bringing the loop full circle. Zirkulit takes the CO2 released in that same process and locks it permanently into recycled mineral waste used in circular construction, so that carbon never makes it back into the atmosphere.
