An Oxygen Element does not stand beside the furniture. It belongs to it, drawn out at the same scale, in the same material, with the same finish. An elongated planter matched in length to the sideboard it accompanies stops reading as a planter at all, and begins reading as a considered detail of the piece itself. The transition between furnishing and plant turns continuous. The line stays clean.
Greened elements work differently from freestanding plants. They are not an addition to the space, they are part of its structure. A greened element along a long sideboard in the open space draws a living line through the floor plan. As a table centrepiece in the conference room it sets a calm, natural focal point. At the top edge of a shelf it marks a zone without needing a wall.
The vessels are developed in close coordination with the existing furniture concept, in shape, length and material. We select the planting based on light conditions and desired growth height. Compact species with a calm silhouette dominate here: Peperomia, Sansevieria, Scindapsus, Philodendron.
The result is a greening element that one does not recognise as such, until one realises how much it would be missed.
In a consultation we take measurements. Length, width, materiality and colour tone of the vessel are matched to the existing piece of furniture. The result looks like an integrated part of the interior.
Compact species with calm growth work best, Peperomia, Sansevieria, Scindapsus or smaller Philodendron varieties. We select the planting based on light conditions and desired visual effect.
Yes, as a table centrepiece they are particularly well suited. They create a natural focal point without interrupting the sightline between participants. Height and density of the planting are selected accordingly.
The vessels are equipped with integrated water reservoirs or suitable substrates. Regular care and irrigation are handled by us as part of the all-inclusive concept.
Yes. We also work with existing furniture. Following a site visit we develop a vessel concept that integrates seamlessly, without structural alterations.
