Collection of Personal Data

We process the following categories of personal data in particular:

  • Master data: Surname, first name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number.
  • Contract data: Information on booked services, subscriptions, and payment information.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of the website visit.
  • Sensor data: Air quality data (CO2, humidity, etc.) collected by our installed sensors.

Purpose of Data Processing

Processing is carried out for the following purposes:

  • Handling and optimization of our services (Smart Greenery).
  • Communication with customers and interested parties.
  • Marketing measures (e.g., newsletters), provided you have given your consent.
  • Ensuring the security and functionality of our IT infrastructure.

Data Disclosure and International Transfer

We only disclose data to third parties if it is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or if there is a legal obligation. As we are active in Switzerland and Germany, there is a regular exchange of data between these countries. Both countries provide an adequate level of data protection.

Should data be transferred to countries without adequate protection (e.g., the USA when using US cloud services), we use Standard Contractual Clauses of the EU Commission.

Third-Party Providers used:

  • CRM System (Customer Relationship Management): We use HubSpot (HubSpot, Inc.) to process customer inquiries efficiently, manage contracts, and control our marketing activities. In this context, master data and communication content may be processed on HubSpot servers (potentially in the USA).

  • Web Analytics & Optimization:
    • Google Analytics 4 & Google Search Console: We use these services (Google Ireland Ltd.) to analyze the use of our website and improve our visibility in search engines. IP addresses are anonymized.
    • Hotjar: We use Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd.) to better understand user behavior (e.g., which areas of the website are used particularly intensively) and to optimize user-friendliness.

SEMrush: We use SEMrush (Semrush Inc.) to analyze our web performance and for SEO purposes. This primarily involves processing aggregated technical data to optimize our reach.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Correction of incorrect data.

We store personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above or as required by legal retention obligations (usually 10 years for accounting records).
