Official guidelines from the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA) and the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (BAG) recommend maintaining CO2 below 1,000 ppm and relative humidity between 30% and 60% for a healthy indoor climate.
While mechanical ventilation is often essential, especially for managing CO2, plants provide a natural, sustainable way to help you stay within these healthy ranges. Through photosynthesis and transpiration, they actively support the indoor environment by absorbing CO2 and regulating moisture.
