In their new offices in Lausanne and Geneva, Forvis Mazars relies on a carefully planned greening concept by Oxygen at Work. The potted plants and densely planted sideboards blend seamlessly into the modern architecture, enhance the indoor climate, and reflect the company’s commitment to sustainability. Thanks to a digital dashboard and regular maintenance, this green working environment is supported for the long term.

Large plants make a striking statement in any office space. With the right placement they blend harmoniously into the room’s design, improve air quality, and create a relaxed atmosphere. Their full impact is especially noticeable in large, open offices or prestigious reception areas, where they can continue to grow over time.

Green elements are a tailor-made solution for modern offices that want to harmoniously combine nature and design. They can be attached to or integrated into furniture, creating green retreats, improving air quality and helping to separate rooms with the aid of natural elements.

"At Forvis Mazars, sustainability is not just a statement—it is a practice! By integrating greenery into our workspace from day one, we have created an environment that reflects our values while enhancing employee well-being. Oxygen at Work has helped us make this vision a reality, seamlessly blending nature with our daily operations."
A Commitment to Sustainability and Well-Being
When Forvis Mazars moved into their new offices in Lausanne and Geneva, they aimed to create a workspace that truly reflected their commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. In collaboration with their architect, Aurélie Motay, Forvis Mazars partnered with Oxygen at Work to integrate a greenery concept that enhances both the work environment and air quality. This approach aligns perfectly with their climate-conscious values.
Unlike some companies that introduce plants as a reactive measure to air quality issues, Forvis Mazars made the proactive choice to include greenery as part of their office relocation. This ensured a seamless integration from day one, making the plants an organic part of the workspace rather than an afterthought.
Although this decision primarily relied on the aesthetic aspect, Lucie Caillaud - Office Manager at Forvis Mazars in Lausanne, actively uses the Oxygen at Work dashboard to track air quality and environmental improvements. The monthly air quality reports have become a valuable tool, providing insights that enhance her understanding of the office environment.
"I check the reports as soon as they arrive, and I sometimes even reach out to your team if something is not clear! While air quality was not the main reason we partnered with Oxygen at Work, this added layer of insight is a great bonus."
One of the highlights of this collaboration has been the visits from Oxygen at Work’s Greenery Team, led by Nadia and Florencia. As smooth operators, they ensure that the plants stay fit and green, and that everything runs seamlessly. They provide expert advice and change plants when necessary, all while remaining unobtrusive to daily operations!
"The visits from Nadia and Florencia are great! We can chat with them if we need advice, but they never disrupt our workflow. Everything runs effortlessly."
Overall, the feedback from employees has been very positive. They enjoy the jungle-like atmosphere the Oxygen Elements bring to their work environment, and the great variety of plants has reinforced this feeling. The only minor feedback?
"The office has an amazing vibe now! Some colleagues mentioned they would have liked more color, maybe some flowers, but overall, the response has been just great."
Since Oxygen at Work focuses on indoor air quality improvement and long-lasting plant concepts, we prioritize greenery that actively supports these goals—unlike flowers, which are short-lived and do not contribute in the same way. That said, if they are lucky, one of their plants might surprise them with flowers soon!
While their office already enjoyed heavenly features with views of Lake Léman and the Alps, they now have greenery to bring this natural touch inside. According to Lucie Caillaud, Forvis Mazars has now done everything to provide its employees with a vitalized workspace - one where sustainability meets aesthetics. The partnership with Oxygen at Work has created a dynamic, greener office that aligns with some of their values—integrity, responsibility, and diversity—while enhancing well-being and supporting their environmental goals.
