Do I incur high acquisition costs for the service?

Accepted Answer

No. Our service is based on the subscription model, in which we bill annual amounts per workstation. The first year costs the same as the twelfth year.

Why shouldn't I just buy plants?

In the last 50 years, the office plant has had a bad reputation.
The dusty ficus was somewhere in the corner with yellow leaves.

The reason for this is the purchase model. You invest millions in the interior design of a new location, in high-quality furniture and materials. After 3 years, the office and the high-quality extension still look like new. Except for the plants you bought, in which you have also invested a lot of money. A third to half no longer look good and would have to be replaced. However, no one cares and buying new plants also means investing again.

The result: a plant concept that is no longer a plant and an image of withered shoots and yellow leaves. Plants should bring naturalness and vitality into the room.

In the rental model, we are responsible for ensuring that the plants always look like new. Regular replacement is essential for this. This is included. There are no opportunity or reinvestment costs. Your office will still look new in 5 years and the plants will thrive and bring joy.

Question 3

I'm only interested in the design aspect of the plants. Can I also have a plant concept without the sensor technology?

Accepted Answer

This is basically possible, but prevents the plants from exploiting their full potential.

Question 4

How long will it take for the smart plants to be in my office?

Accepted Answer

We normally deliver the plants within four weeks. However, it should be noted that the planning of more complex plant concepts can take longer in individual cases.

Question 5

Who makes sure that the plants are watered and cut?

Accepted Answer

If your office is located near our office hubs in Zurich, Lausanne, Munich or Berlin, the plants will be watered and cared for by our own gardeners from Oxygen at Work. If the distance to your office is too great, we engage local gardeners from the region for the maintenance of the plants, which come to your office every 2-3 weeks. In this way we support the local economy and keep emissions for maintenance and care to a minimum.

Can I also equip my private household with the plant concepts?

Not yet. However, we are working on making the plant concepts accessible to private households.
