Following a post-COVID building renovation that gave their office a true facelift, Publicis decided to accompany the fresh look by bringing life and greenery into the space. The inspiration was deeply personal and employee-centric: they had noticed how much their colleagues loved having plants on their own desks, and how many possessed a natural green thumb. Wanting to celebrate and amplify this joy, Publicis set out to create an even more inspiring and nurturing environment for their staff.
Employee Happiness First
As a highly creative agency, Publicis is used to thinking outside the box, but they also describe themselves as “creatures of habits”. While they wanted to introduce new natural elements to the office, there were some initial fears about how the staff would react to changes in their work environment. Leadership wanted to ensure the transition felt comfortable and respectful of their team’s cherished daily routines.
Furthermore, as a busy and dedicated workforce, they recognized that while they had the enthusiasm for a green office, they did not have the dedicated in-house personnel to give the plants the expert, continuous care they truly deserved.

In fact, the employees are so fond of the plants that, according to Stella, they would be devastated if they were gone! In addition the Publicis team loves to welcome our greenery team, which she qualifies as “warm, adorable, always smiling, and incredibly helpful!”.
