Why is it Important to Measure the Indoor Air Quality in Offices?

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is an unseen influencer of health, productivity, and safety in the workplace. Poor IAQ can lead to a decrease in the cognitive function of employees, increased illness, and a decline in overall employee satisfaction. Ensuring optimal IAQ is not a luxury but a necessity for a thriving workplace.

What are Important Metrics to Measure Indoor Air Quality in Offices?

The air we breathe is as complex as it is vital. Measuring IAQ involves several parameters, including carbon dioxide for alertness, volatile organic compounds as chemical indicators, fine dust affecting our respiratory system, and other factors influencing our neurological and cardiovascular health.

What Indoor Air Quality Parameters were measured for this Report?

This month's analysis included crucial IAQ parameters such as carbon dioxide, temperature, relative humidity, fine dust, organic compounds, carbon monoxide, ozone, and nitrogen dioxide.

Data Background

The data collected comes from a total of 811 sensor devices, placed in different room types (open office spaces, private office spaces and lounge areas). To create the averaged values visualized above, we filtered standard office hours (Mo-Fr, 08:00-18:00).
