At Oxygen at Work, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Our plant concepts are officially recognized by the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment FOEN as a sustainable solution for reducing CO₂ emissions. For every plant in an office, we plant two additional trees in the rainforest. So far, we’ve planted over 89,000 trees and are restoring 76.22 ha in Zambia and India. Thanks to our circular approach, every plant is given a second life: healthy plants are relocated to new projects or second-hand plant shops, while those that have reached the end of their lifecycle are processed in a biogas plant to generate energy and natural fertilizer. The resulting CO₂ is captured and stored in recycled concrete. Our plants grow in solar-powered greenhouses, we use only organic fertilizers, and our rental model ensures the efficient use of resources – helping create greener offices while protecting the planet.
